Changes are coming our way next year! Please READ below:
During these difficult economic times, we are trying to be the best stewards possible of your tuition dollar. This is one of the reasons we are switching to online tuition payments. If you missed this information featured in last month's newsletter, please click here to refer back. You may sign up at any time.
Due to the suggestion of MANY parents and staff, we are going to add the month of June to our normal school year, following the Central Kitsap School District's schedule. We will begin this current year with school now ending on June 16, 2010. (June 17 - 21 will be possible snow make up days.) Because the number of school days in June make up only ½ of a month, tuition will be ½ of what it normally is. (Note: many schools charge a full month's tuition for June.) Summer School will most likely be offered for 4 weeks in July and 4 weeks in August.
In addition, next year we are going to switch your $100.00 deposit from being applied to September's tuition to being applied to the last month of the school year's tuition (now June).
Because of these changes and our continued nearly full enrollment (thank you for spreading the word!), we are raising tuition only by $5.00/month this year instead of the $10.00 that we've done the last couple of years. Next year's tuition will be $235.00/month.
To recap:
This June's (2010) tuition will be $115.00 per child and school will end on June 16th.
Next year's tuition will be $235.00/month. A $100.00 non-refundable deposit for 2010 - 2011 is due June 1, 2010 and will be applied to June's, 2011 tuition.
Next year's tuition will be automatically withdrawn from your bank account on the 1st of the month.

Monday, January 4 - School resumes. 
We wish to thank all of you who donated shoes for needy children in Mazatlan. We received an amazing 43 pairs! Your generosity is appreciated both locally and globally!
During the month of December we learned the signs for several animals. We put this together with the colors we learned last month and together we signed along with the book "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" By Bill Martin Jr. & Eric Carle. The kids really enjoyed this. If you have the book at home give it a try with them.
