| Parent Conferences |
 Every November we offer conferences to our parents. Our conferences are scheduled during the same days as the Central Kitsap School District conferences. If you have other children in the district, your schedule will be completely mixed up on those days anyway. Our schools will be closed on Friday, November 21 and Monday, November 24 and your conference will be scheduled some time during these 2 days. If you don't already have an appointment, we will set one up for you at the cars or by telephone. Conferences are a half hour and are held at the school.

| Feast Day! |
 Our annual, very festive, feast day will be on the day before Thanksgiving. The children will be cooking and preparing food on Tuesday and the feast will be held on Wednesday during the last hour of class time. If you would like to help in anyway, either on Tuesday or Wednesday, please let us know.

| Snow Days |
 Our snow policy is the same as the Central Kitsap School District. If CKSD closes school for the day, we will also have no school. This enables us to spread the news through radio, TV, and online. If CK schools are delayed by 2 hours, there will be no morning school. If CK schools are delayed by 1 hour, come if and when you can. Please do not take unnecessary risks. If there are more than 4 snow days during this school year, we will make them up in June. Click on the link below to see school reports.

The Salmon are Here! |

Come and Visit Barker Creek!
Many of you know that our old Barker Creek Montessori campus is located on a salmon spawning creek. Each year in November the spawning salmon are quite an attraction. Barker Creek children used to have the privilege of going outside to watch them - one of our fondest memories of that location.
This year the salmon have once again returned and Mrs. Zegers would like to invite you to come and see them. You are welcome to come, park and go walk around by the creek. Bring your kids, parents, friends... anybody who would like to see them.
The new bridge is also finished! This new bridge, as you can probably imagine, has been quite an ordeal, but is now ready to be driven on and checked out by anyone who is interested.
The old Barker Creek Montessori campus is located at 8600 Nels Nelson Rd. Feel free to ask your child's teacher for directions if you need them. Don't be alarmed when you see the 'For Sale' sign out front. Roger & Diana Zegers will be moving next spring, but not too far! |
