Sparrow Portraits will again be offering portraits of your children. You will have a chance to view the pictures BEFORE you buy. Sparrow offers online ordering. You will be able to choose sheets of 1 8x10, 2 5x7s, 4 4x5s, and/or 9 wallets. The cost is quite reasonable and the portraits will be back in plenty of time for holiday gift giving. If you wish, you may bring siblings and have all of your children photographed together as well as individually. Portrait day will be Wednesday, October 8. We will begin immediately after circle time ends (about 1/2 hour after school begins.) If you plan to bring siblings please come towards the beginning of this time.

Along with our general curriculum we are beginning our year-long science and geography studies. This year we will be learning about plants and insects. In each monthly newsletter, we will let you know what we are studying during that month in the right side column. Please feel free to contribute items of interest for show and tell or for demonstration.
