At Central Kitsap Montessori, all classes have a maximum capacity of 18 children. There are 2 adults, giving us a very comfortable student / teacher ratio of 9:1. Each class is staffed with a head teacher and an assistant teacher. The head teacher of each class is and will always be a Montessori Certified Teacher. Our school serves children from 3 years old through Kindergarten.

All of our classes are full for the 2018-2019 school year. However, if you are interested in enrolling your child please give us a call and we will schedule a tour and answer your questions. We do keep waiting lists so don’t get too discouraged. Our military town keeps things moving… quite literally!
Annual tuition for the 2019-2020 school year will be $3,100. Tuition is divided into 10 equal monthly payments of $310. For this reason, tuition will be the same regardless of how many school days are in a particular month. This also applies if you leave for a family vacation. Obviously, we cannot fill your child’s spot for the few weeks that you are gone and we know that you understand that our budget remains the same!
Tuition is done through our secure automatic withdrawal system on the first school day of each new month. If alternative arrangements need to be made, please contact Diana at Diana@CKMontessori.com. A fee of $15 will be charged for any NSF transactions.

A one-time deposit of $100 is charged at the time of registration. This deposit is a ‘place holder’ and will stay on your account as long as one of your children is registered at Central Kitsap Montessori. This deposit will be credited to your tuition account during your youngest child’s last month of attendance provided your child completes the school year. Exceptions will be made for military families on a case by case basis.

We always open enrollment for brand new students, for the following school year, on February 15. In other words, if you have a child who will be 3 by September of 2019, call or sign up for a tour (see below) in January or February of 2019 for the best chance at getting a spot for your child.
(If you’ve heard that we have full enrollment please don’t let that discourage you. Since we are a military town, things do change so please call us if you are interested in being put on our waiting list. We stay on top of our class lists and will let you know if we get a space for your child. The sooner you call the better!)
Our Montessori classroom is designed for the 3 – 6 year old. We will enroll your child if s/he will be turning 3 by the end of October. (Please note, the CK School District cutoff date is 8/31 so if your child has a birthday in September or October s/he may have an “extra” year of preschool.) If you enroll your child in the middle of the school year, s/he must be at least 3 years old. Children that are outside of this age range are usually not successful for a variety of reasons. It’s in everyone’s best interest to avoid a negative school experience!

Registration Process & Scheduling a Tour
The first thing that you will want to do is set up a tour to see our facility, meet some of the staff, have your questions answered, etc… You are welcome to bring your preschooler along but it is not required. If you also have a 1-2.5 year old, please know that it can be difficult to keep him/her out of the classroom materials – they want to touch everything! This can be a distraction so if at all possible, leave this child with a grandparent or another care giver during your tour. Babies that can be held are generally fine.
We are excited to introduce our new online tour sign up system through SignUpGenius! We do tours on Mondays and Fridays at either 10:00 AM or 1:00 PM. Because we often have many, many tour requests between January and June, we have now started doing small group tours. This means that your tour may include one other family. If you have any questions about this or if you need to make different arrangements please call our office and we will do our best to accommodate you. Click here to sign up for a tour.
When you’ve decided that you would like to join us you will need to turn in your application and deposit. We will give you the paperwork during your tour or you can download them here: CK Montessori Enrollment Forms. Please drop them off with us or mail them in with your deposit.
