Monthly Curriculum

IMG_9744.JPG

At CK Montessori our core Montessori curriculum is always available to the children.  Some of the subject areas, however, offer different units to explore each month.  Our geography and science areas are two of the main subject areas that change every month.  These two subject areas have an impact on other monthly activities as well.  For example, when we study bees we also have yellow hexagons for collage gluing in our art area. Our science curriculum is on a two year program that alternates each year.  Our monthly curriculum for these two subject areas is laid out below.
